Soft, clear-cut lines feature greatly in Patrick Norguet's bed "Flavia". The headboard, upholstered in soft Pelle Frau leathers, shows all the craftsmanship skill in working with leather and provides both comfort and protection. Built from solid poplar wood and beech plywood with MDF panels, the headboard is padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Flavia is utterly practical and can accommodate a spacious container unit accessible from the front footboard by simply raising the resting surface with a gas device. In the standard version the cylindrical steel feet are set back against the edgeing, and finished in anthracite grey, whilst in the version with container unit, the headboard side sees them flanked by 2 wheels that facilitate movement. Upholstered in Pelle Frau Leather. Flavia can be integrated as required with Rest bases, Mattresses and Bed linen from the Poltrona Frau Notte collection.
Upholstered in Pelle Frau Leather
Leather and hide represents for Poltrona Frau the "material icons" to be used in so far as they are symbols of elegance, prestige, and quality. Poltrona Frau have developed exclusive work procedures over the years, working on bovine leathers. Such procedures are based on twenty-one different production steps and all of this is the fruit of Poltrona Frau's constant research. Only leathers that are capable of guaranteeing characteristics such as transpiration, resistance to water, to scratches, and to stains, are defined as Pelle Frau leather.
