This week, Cult and Carl Hansen & Son hosted an intimate dinner to present news from the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair and celebrate all things Scandinavian.

Set within the striking new Paddington Inn designed by George Livissianis, the private dining room was transformed with Carl Hansen & Son furniture for the night - adding a distinctly Danish modern feel to the warm and inviting space.

Dinner was served at a long table for 16, surrounded by iconic CH24 Wishbone Chairs, designed by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son in the 1950s. Recently released designs from Carl Hansen & Son were also displayed, including the Embrace Chair by EOOS, CH417 Reversible Tray Table and CH22 Lounge Chair. Handcrafted vessels by Studio Twocan housed unique floral displays, that combined the beauty of wild Australian natives with the classic simplicity of roses and hydrangeas.

Over dinner Cult presented a news and trends overview of the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, including the re-issue of Carl Hansen & Son's CH23 Chair. The CH23 completes the set of four chairs Wegner designed as his first collection for the Danish brand - alongside the CH22, CH24 and CH25.

The warm and inviting interior at the Paddington Inn provided the perfect backdrop to showcase the iconic timber designs from Carl Hansen & Son.
